Meet KD and Tammy Hill, the passion behind Marina Del Rey Resort. Guided by their profound desire for serving others and love of the lake life. Tammy and KD have been married for over 30 years, sharing a deep appreciation for the great outdoors. After falling in love with Grand Lake O' the Cherokees, in 2020, they left their farm life in Northwest Arkansas and settled in Ketchum, Oklahoma, to pursue their dream of creating a serene lakeside retreat.
Just an hour's drive from Joplin, Tulsa, and other neighboring cities, our resort offers a tranquil escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
At Marina Del Rey Resort, every detail reflects the couple's dedication to their guests' comfort and enjoyment. Nestled on 51 acres along the tranquil east side of Sawmill Hollow Cove, the resort boasts 6 rustic luxury cabins, 105 RV spots, and a large welcoming 50x30 pool area. The pool is complemented by a bathhouse/pool house featuring showers, changing rooms, laundry facilities, and a convenient concession area. Children can explore the enchanting and unique play area, while the 55x55 pavilion with an outdoor kitchen stands ready to host special events and celebrations.
Situated along 1,850 feet of pristine shoreline, the resort offers a marina with boat slip rentals, allowing you to keep your vessel parked during your stay. Lush trees provide shade and serenity, inviting you to explore the wonders of Grand Lake and the surrounding communities.
